On February 23, 2006, Great Glacier literally struck gold. It was on that date our naturally pure artesian water was awarded the gold medal for the best tasting non-carbonated bottled water at the world famous Berkeley Springs International water tasting competition. For 17 years, this event has been held at the historic spa in the town of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. It is regarded as the "Olympics" of Bottled water tasting. In 2006, more than 100 entries were submitted from across the world, making it the largest bottled water tasting event on the planet.

This was the first time we had entered the competition, so the award was particularly special in view of our motto "Quality you can taste from a source you can trust". Great Glacier is special; we believe it is the best bottled water you can buy today and the gold medal validates our belief.
